Facing Autism in a Caring Environment

The mission of Facing Autism in a Caring Environment (FACE) is to build a community of Best Buy employees that will promote awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and support our families through networking, the sharing of resources and providing encouragement.

Objectives

The focus of the group is to form a network where employees can get involved to increase awareness regarding Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and provide a means for employees touched by ASD to network, share resources and support one another. The group will:
  • Leverage personal connections such as personal networking and online tools to create a community
  • Discuss political action
  • Bounce ideas off one another in relation to the different treatments, support and educational opportunities available.
  • Work with other Best Buy employees to gain a better understanding of how they can work best with their fellow ASD employees.

Please check back the first week in July for our individual video stories!
